My meeting with a vampireIt was a Saturday, which meant that Mam was insisting on us all cleaning the house; of course this also meant that I had gone outside to get a “breath of fresh air”. Four hours later I decided to go back home thinking that most of the work was probably finished and dinner would soon be on the table. I bought a can of coke to keep me going on the long 15 minute journey home then I headed down through the town and turned into a little alley. It was dark, smelly and horribly creepy [the type of place where you’d expect to find dead bodies]. Most people would have avoided it but it was a shortcut and I loved shortcuts.My meeting with a vampire
